Around the apartment...

We've been spending ALOT of time at our apartment the last month or two and I thought it deserved some space on the blog. I can look back fondly one day, though now I'm just excited we will be moving into our house in two weeks!!! One bedroom apartments are great, but not when you have a baby sleeping right next to you. Ah, the memories...

This is one of AJ's favorite crawling spots....
We have a makeshift baby barrier consisting of a suitcase and coffee table turned on it's side. He is starting to figure out how to bust through the suitcase so we need to move soon...

This is where AJ dines. You can see I'm new to the whole "real people" food for babies. I made this great spread for lunch and it started out well...

Then he proceeded to just mash it around like finger paints! I have since learned to keep the food on the table and give him just enough to keep him occupied. Whew, I am constantly learning. And not only that, but he keeps changing what he likes on me. He used to love bananas, now won't touch them. He turned his head at baby food a couple weeks ago, now he loves having it for breakfast. (I learned this after making him 3 other options first including cream of wheat & oatmeal). He loves baked chicken, it's so cute seeing him using his 6 little front teeth to chew up food. Amazing how he just knows how to use them. Okay, I see I've gone on long enough about food, it's a very important part of my day!

Uncle John likes to come over for visits. AJ loves seeing him...

He has the coolest gadgets!

We get to play with the Meloys when AJ is not sick! (he's been sick twice this month already, ugh). The scariest was the 103.4 fever, but he recovered nicely...

We went to Memorial Park for the first time last week. AJ found the swings!! My camera went on a weird setting for this picture, but I think it turned out kind of cool. Guess i should read the manual.

And the most fun of all... playing with Daddy! AJ squeals & jumps for joy every time his Dad walks in the door. It's so cute, he is really a Daddy's boy.
