AJ's been busy

AJ has had quite the eventful week. He started out the week getting his first tooth!! It's the lower middle right tooth if you are looking at him. He had about 3 days of fussiness and then the tooth finally poked through on May 7th (his cousin's birthday!). I can't believe my baby is growing up and getting teeth! (sniff). His poor little thumb has scratches from his new sharp tooth. Maybe that is why he has started sucking his big toe this week! ha ha ha...


We also drove to Houston on Wednesday to see AJ's new cousin Reese. It was quite a trip considering we drove both ways in one day. On the 6 hour trip home we stopped at AJ's first fast food restaurant, Whataburger. (Shelly, are you proud??!)


AJ has also started rocking on all fours. I really hope this stage lasts a while (anyone?), cause I'm really not ready for him to start crawling! He definitely can't wait to move. Grandpa thinks it's fun to encourage him to crawl, but I think it's mean since they will be leaving me next week all by myself with a mobile child!!! ;)

And most importantly, AJ is really missing his daddy this week. Anthony's in Vancouver and AJ is working diligently on saying "da da" to surprise him when he gets home. Hugs & Kisses, Dad!!!
