No nap at school = whiney little boy. On the way home from school today, this was the conversation I had with AJ:
AJ: “I don’t want to go home” (repeat about 5 times, whining)
Mommy: “Where do you want to go?”
AJ: “I want to go to school”
Mommy: “You can go back to school tomorrow”
AJ: “I want to go back to school” (repeat 3 times)
Mommy, exasperated: “We are going back to school”
AJ, promptly: “I want to go home” “I want to go to my house”
Ha! Mommy wins this battle!!!! (Not sure I’m winning the war, though)
