AJ's Baptism

AJ is two months old today! He has grown up so much in only 2 short months, I can't wait to see how much he will change in the next 2 months. We went to the doc today for a well check and AJ is right on track with all the 2 month markers. He weighs 12 lbs 4 oz and is 23" tall. He's in the 50-75% range. I asked about sleep schedules and since he has acid reflux there will be no schedules for us! She said I can try but he will dictate when he wakes because he's probably refluxing. So that's a relief that I wasn't doing something wrong because schedules weren't working too well for us. :) (I just heard him laugh!!)

Sunday marked a very important occasion for Anthony Jr. He was baptised and we were lucky enough to have some family members join us for the event. There wasn't too much crying, just a quick fuss that was easily diverted by the pastor picking him up.

There was a bit of controversy over his attire. We had him baptised in a family heirloom gown made by his great great grandma in 1916. All my family members, including boys, were baptised in it. Dad was a little hesitant about him wearing a "dress" but has since gotten used to the idea. :)

Here's our little longhorn getting ready for the big event! How do I send this to Mack???

Thiesfeld side posing... AJ is getting bored with pictures just like his Daddy. ;)

Here is a pic of me wearing the gown 30 year ago!! I pose much nicer than AJ...

AJ would not keep his legs still for the picture!

Here he is laughing and flashing us!!

Sweet baby boy...

AJ wants to show his Dad that he is still tough after wearing a "dress"!! Check out this bicep!
