Fun Weekend

We've had an eventful week. I'm starting to finally figure out the recipe for a happy family. Bascially I need to just stay home during the day and wait to be social until things get more settled. Today was a great day because I was able to focus on AJ and get in lots of naps! Also, I've got reinforcements on the way.... my parents are coming in on Thursday! Anthony and I take turns sleeping at night, I have the first shift from 7 to midnight and then Anthony takes his turn till 6am when he has to get up for work. Let's hope things continue to get better... I dont' want to jinx myself!

Ronnie & Jessica drove up from Houston this weekend to visit AJ. Heath, Melissa & Avery also stopped by to visit while they were here. Here is Ron surrounded by babies!! Avery is such a cutie, she entertained us by speaking in Spanish! Bueno!!

Ron & Jessica brought AJ a blue elephant rocker. It even came with installation! AJ promptly christened it by spitting up on it, oops!

On Friday Shelby met us for lunch at Central Market. That place is baby central, AJ wasn't even the youngest! He loved putting a face with the voice he heard all throughout mommy's pregnancy while she was at work with Shelby.

AJ really loves his activity gym. At first all he did was stare up past it at the fan. Now he swats at the butterfly and coos at the sunshine! I'm still trying to catch video of it. Check out his cowboy outfit...

Mom & baby have started using the baby bjorn. We both love it! I just bought some baby sunscreen so we can go on walks with it. For now mommy uses it to get baby to sleep!

This has become a nightly ritual. When dad gets home he gives AJ his medicine and then he falls asleep on dad's chest. Then dad gets "stuck". Mom's asleep in the other room and daddy can't move! ha!
