My little bambino is 3 months old today! I thought I should take this opportunity to list some of the things I love about this hurly burly baby.
1. Those chunky little thighs! Oh, I could just take a bite out of that little man.
2. His smile. We don’t call him “Happy Jack” for nothing. He is always ready with a smile. In the middle of the night I am so groggy changing his diaper but I look down and he’s just grinning at me in the dark! Even when he’s upset, he can’t help himself. If you smile at him, he smiles back through the tears. Sometimes we’ll be watching tv or talking to AJ and look down and he’s just grinning at us. Soooo cute!
3. His laugh. Yes, today for the first time ever, he LAUGHED at me! It was music. I kissed one cheek, then the other, then his mouth and he thought it was hilarious!
And not to leave out my firstborn… AJ has been cracking us up lately. My favorite thing right now is his imaginary play. He loves to make his figurines talk to each other. Sometimes they introduce themselves, sometimes they ask what the other is doing, sometimes they fight. Woody & Buzz help save each other. The dinosaurs have battles and roar each other. Anthony & AJ build castles and the GI Joe figures battle for who stays on top of the castle. It is endless and always fascinating to watch. I love being the fly on the wall and listening in.
