Jack Lee Riley was baptized at Memorial Drive Methodist Church at 9:30am on June 13, 2010.
Jack wore the same christening gown that his brother AJ wore. It is a family gown that was made by my great grandmother on my Mom’s side 95 years ago. It was worn by Thelma Musser Salisbury Deneau, Elwin Musser, Elaine Musser Butterfield (my grandmother), Evan Salisbury, Alleene Butterfield (my aunt), Barbara Butterfield Thiesfeld (my mother), Michelle Thiesfeld Riley, John Thiesfeld, Jeremiah Bayne (my cousin), Jennifer Bayne (my cousin), Anthony Riley Jr. and Jack Riley.
A photo with the minister who officiated the baptism, Dr. Simmons. Geepa, Aunt Megan, Daddy, Mommy, Jack, Dr. Simmons, and up front the three kiddos Reese, Lane & AJ.
It was a really nice ceremony and Jack hardly fussed at all. AJ stood there like a sweet little perfect angel. A photo with Papa, Daddy, Mommy (or Mama as AJ has started calling me), Jack, MaGa & Uncle John.
Photos with MaGa & Papa before the big event.
Big group shot of the family & friends who shared in this very special day for Jack. I hope we can all help show him by example the way to a life of God and love. Thank you for your support.

Relaxing after a full day…
My beautiful angel, he truly is a gift from God. I am so blessed.
What a very special day! Baby Jack looked just like an angel in the 'so-very-special-family-gown' I just knew AJ would be a trooper.
ReplyDeleteAll of the pictures are so nice. I will always
regret missing such a beautiful occasion. I know
Emmy wished she could have been there for litte
Jack, what a cutie!
Btw, how on earth do you come by these most unusual things....like the portable air conditioner?. GREAT gadget for Houston!!
Lots of Hugs & tell the boys how much Grandmama
loves them ok?
